And, almost to the day in 1973, she wed her first husband Andrew Parker Bowles in London. She and Prince Charles eventually married in 2005.
It’s time to dissect the controversial Queen’s past in the present day, a time when many vow never to forget the role of homewrecker that she played in the marriage of Charles and his first wife, the late Diana.

The military captain married Camilla Shand in front of 800 guests and it was the hottest ticket in town that July. Neither party was a royal but he had impeccable ties to royalty. According to Vogue “Andrew Parker Bowles’s parents were friends of the Queen Mother, and he had served as a page at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.”
In keeping with tradition, Camilla wore a white wedding gown, plus the diamond-encrusted Cubitt-Shand tiara, a family heirloom.
