British royal family news that woke Prince Harry is leaving nothing to chance with his precious self and is actually wearing a ring being touted as possibly preventing coronavirus. Nothing has been proven to prevent the spread of the highly infectious disease but many celebs, including Hollywood Harry, are wearing the expensive bling nonetheless.

Disgraced athlete Lance Armstrong is also wearing the Oura ring which goes for around £218. One study, released on December 14, 2020, suggested the ring might detect fever leading some to hail it as a miracle cure for COVID.
High temperature is one sign of COVID-19 and according to the researcher hailing it as a wonder tool, his research, “Is important for showing the potential of wearable devices in early detection of COVID-19, as well as other infectious diseases.”
Harry has been seen sporting the ring which its makers claim keeps track of body temperature, sleep efficiency, calorie intake, heart rate and respiratory rates.

Harpeet Rai is the CEO of the company which sells the jewelry and he told The Daily Telegraph: “People are recognizing the power of understanding their own health information. Covid-19 has put a spotlight on the gaps in our health system – we are focused on reactive ‘sick care’ and our healthcare system is overwhelmed.”
