Lena’s full name is Lena Elizabeth Tindall, with her middle name a tribute to Queen Elizabeth. Many royals have chosen Elizabeth as a middle name going back several generations in the royal family.

The queen bestowed the popular name on her own daughter Princess Anne who was born in 1950. Now, three of the Queen’s four granddaughters have been given Elizabeth as a middle name: Zara Anne Elizabeth Tindall, Princess Beatrice Elizabeth Mary, and Lady Louise Alice Elizabeth Mary Mountbatten-Windsor.

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Has To Be Different

This month Prince Harry’s daughter was born and she was named Lilbet which is the queen’s childhood nickname. As with everything else that Hollywood Harry does, the move was a controversial one. For starters, he was accused of blindsiding the queen with the news, making a public announcement before he told her. In fact, he was accused of not asking her permission to use the very personal nickname. Harry came out swinging as is his wont, and he threatened legal action against the BBC for having the audacity to do their job, ie, reporting on his name game.

Then again, the Fresh Prince of Montecito has made it very clear he does not agree with First Amendment rights in the US. On a recent podcast the entitled prince blasted the right to free speech as “bonkers.”
