British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle is in the news again, making a pest of herself again, and again the victims are not amused. It emerged today that she cold called two US Senators with demands, and it’s stunts like this that weigh into the palace not wanting the brats around for the Platinum Jubilee.

The grand celebration takes place next year and insiders report that the nervy couple are deemed a rude and unwelcoming distraction better left off the guest list.

Many royal experts believed an invite for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was a slam dunk but one royal insider thinks they will be ghosted.

Royal Family News – When Is Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubliee?

Queen Elizabeth is the UK’s longest-serving monarch and her next jubilee celebrates 70 years on the throne. Her silver jubilee was in 1975, her golden one in 2002, and her diamond jubilee in 2012. The occasion of the Platinum Jubilee is off the charts historic and the palace has made it known there will be a extended bank holiday from Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5. This is to, “provide an opportunity for communities and people throughout the United Kingdom to come together to celebrate the historic milestone. The four days of celebrations will include public events and community activities, as well as national moments of reflection on the queen’s 70 years of service,” according to the royal website.

Against this backdrop, the Markle’s would surely be Debby Downers.

Royal Family News – The Markle’s Are Not Invited?

The Queen’s birthday parade is called Trooping the Colour and set for June 2. That day is when the royal family traditionally come together on the balcony to watch the celebrations. But having Prince Harry and Meghan there could be problematic seeing as how they are magnets for the worst kind of PR.

Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti has gone on record to say Meghan and Harry may want to be part of the spectacle, but they likely would end up causing one of their own. Given their reputation as media hogs and ranting whiners, it’s understandable why the palace would prefer they not attend Queen Elizabeth’s jubilee celebration.

Harry has been to the UK twice since denouncing the royal family, while Meghan has remained in California.
