Royal Family Said To Be Lawyered Up Over Prince Harry’s Memoir

British royal family news teases that Harry The Fresh Prince of Montecito is due to drop a memoir covering the ins and outs of all 30-some years of his life, next year. Ddo the royals have something to worry about here? Based on precedent, yes. Harry has roasted and toasted his family to no end since deserting the monarchy. Many think the book will be the ultimate way to have the last word on his horrible rotten childhood full of privilege, servants and polo ponies.

Earlier this year, after the news was leaked by Page Six, Harry was forced to admit he’s been scribbling down his existential thoughts with a ghostwriter. Lickety split, the palace was said to be “lawyered up” lest the book prove their wildest fears and he again goes after them as he did on the Oprah Winfrey mud fest he and Meghan held.

According to Prince Harry the book is, “accurate and wholly truthful.” Not only is this statement hysterically funny because of the implication that he is mostly a non-accurate liar, it has the royals fearing what he will say about them.

After calling out his dad and grandmother as inadequate parents, what else is there to say? Plenty. Many are speculating that the book will drag Charles or fthe breakup of his and Diana’s marriage. Right now Charles needs good press as Queen Elizabeth’s health scares make it appear he could be made king sooner rather than later.

No one in the royal family has publicly commented on Harry’s book but royal author Lady Colin Campbell claims the book has put the royal family in a dicey situation.

She said, “The monarchy is acting in a weak and unresponsive way,” regarding their non acknowledgment of the book. “I think what people don’t realize is that a reputable institution that is law-abiding and is respectful of right generally cannot ride roughshod over the rights of others just because it suits it.”

“In the short term, yes they will look weak, at least to some people,” Campbell continued. “To others, it will look as if they are being respectful, and as if they are playing the long game and that sooner or later, if you give people enough rope to hang themselves with, they will do so.”
