Royal Family’s Lawyers Dismisses Rumors That Prince William Cheated On Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton and Prince William

The world has always kept a watchful eye over the royal family but this time, the spotlight is on Prince William who was rumored to have cheated on the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, while she was pregnant with Prince Louis, their third child.

The London law firm, Harbottle and Lewis, which has represented the Royal family in the past, dismissed the rumors about Prince William’s alleged cheating. It all started when In Touch Magazine published a story covering Prince William’s alleged affair with Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, while Kate Middleton was pregnant with their third child.

Did Prince William Have An Affair?

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge do not only live close to Rose Hanbury and husband, David Rocksavage, but they were also close friends. According to certain media reports, Kate and Rose had a falling out, leading the former to tell Prince William to “phase” the latter out. Other publications ran the story as well but they never revealed the reason behind their alleged feud. Some even claimed that Prince William’s affair was the reason behind the tension between him and Prince Harry, and it was never about Meghan Markle.

In Touch’s source said Kate “immediately confronted” Prince William when she found out about the affair. However, he only “just laughed it off saying there was nothing to it.” Kate also wanted William to avoid the Cholmondeleys.

Harbottle And Lewis Deny The Affair Story Is True

The insider added that the royal couple is just like other regular couples who fight over certain things. After this story was first published in In Touch, several smaller online publications have run the story as well.

Because of all these rumors, Harbottle and Lewis law firm released a statement in a letter, which was also sent to one British media outlet after In Touch Weekly cover story was published.

An excerpt of the statement reads, “In addition to being false and highly damaging, the publication of false speculation in respect of our client’s private life also constitutes a breach of his privacy pursuant to Article 8 of the European Convention to Human Rights.”

The law firm also warned that they will not hesitate to take legal actions against any UK media outlet that decides to carry the story.

The Royal men have always cheated so why should William be any different. His dad cheated on Dianna and Prince Philip cheated a lot back in the day also. Just another day in the life of royalty.

It’s dangerous to generalize, and you cannot believe everything you read.
