Royal Fans Lined Up Outside A Charity To Get A Chance To Meet the Prince and Princess of Wales
It’s safe to say that Americans were completely taken in by the royals and their visit was a huge success. The visit gave rise to a lot of excitement, which is not a wonder as it was their first stateside visit in 8 years and their first international engagement since they became the Prince and Princess of Wales.
In fact, they were so kindly welcomed that they hinted that they could be back “when it’s warmer”.
Their visit to Chelsea highlighted the charity organization Roca: a non-profit focused on social justice and mental health. What the organization basically does is pair young people up with social services aimed at preventing violence and leading to better outcomes.
It is also hinted that Kate could use what she learned from the organization to improve her research on the Early Years.
Their visit to Roca wasn’t without its own fanfare as scores of royal fans lined up to receive them.
“Well we haven’t been able to see much. We saw the tops of their heads. But we both work at a museum, and we figured we would come see it because it’s history in the making,” a woman said of the experience.
