A royal reporter has weighed in on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s plans to take legal action against the British tabloids. Prince Harry wants the British press to know that he’s had enough of all the bullying, negative headlines and “relentless propaganda” against him and his wife Meghan Markle. As a matter of fact, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have launched a power and emotional attack on the press and are even taking legal action against some sites and publications, including The Mail on Sunday.

A Fight Against The Media

Prince Harry wrote an open letter to the public and the press and published it on the couple’s official Sussex Royal site. In his post, he said that the media has been attacking his wife Meghan Markle in the same way they once attacked his mother Princess Diana, who passed away back in 1997. And now one royal reporter says that no one – including his own father – is standing behind Prince Harry and supporting him in this fight.

As a matter of fact royal correspondent Richard Palmer couldn’t help but tweet about the trouble on his social media account this past week. The royal reporter wrote, “Nobody in the Royal Family or the Royal Household is supporting Harry and Meghan at the moment. Even the couple’s aides seem embarrassed by the actions. William, who dropped his brother like a ton of hot bricks earlier this year and Charles have distanced themselves.”

With that said, no one really knows what is going on behind palace doors. So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the controversy, nor have they said anything about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s plans to sue British media outlets for their supposedly unfair and sometimes unbalanced reporting on the royal couple.

Ever since the statement has been made, the Sussexes have no many any further comments about the matter. However, they have participated with Prince Harry and Kate Middleton to help promote Mental Health World Day on social media this past week. The Royal Family’s official Instagram page featured several photos of the royals at work, however, it’s been noted that there are no new photos of the Cambriges and the Sussexes together.
