Samantha Markle Accuses Meghan Markle Of Lying About Her Past

Samantha Markle has once again gone on the record to slam her estranged sister, Meghan Markle. This time around Samantha claims that Meghan has reportedly lied about paying her own university fees. Instead, she says that it’s their father, Thomas Markle Senior, who paid all of Meghan’s college tuition and fees. The Duchess of Sussex has not spoken to her father ever since he failed to show up at her royal wedding at Windsor Castle back in May.

Samantha apparently tweeted a link from a past interview in which Meghan stated that she paid her way through college. Meghan said, “I am also fully aware of the challenges of being able to afford this level of schooling for many people around the world — myself included. It was through scholarships, financial aid programs and work-study where my earnings from a job on campus went directly towards my tuition — that I was able to attend university. And, without question, it was worth every effort.”

According to Samantha, that is simply untrue. “Our father paid for all of her education! This speech is not true,” she wrote, adding: “Our father paid for all of her education, this is an outrageous lie! She needs to stop hiding the truth.”

Of course, Meghan has not responded to any of the comments that Samantha has made, both on Twitter or in her media interviews. The Duchess, who is currently pregnant with her first child, is currently touring Tonga with her husband, Prince Harry. The couple have so far visited Australia and Fiji and are on their way to New Zealand as well.
