The latest royal drama seems to be focused on hypocrisy and seems to be fired up more as Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew believe King Charles treated them with severe unfairness. Read on for more details.
Treated badly By The King?
On Friday night, royal commentator Neil Sean chatted about it during his Daily News Headlines vlog on his YouTube channel. As he often does, he referred to an unnamed but “excellent source” close to the situation.
Allegedly, Sean explained, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his ex, Fergie, feel that they’ve been “treated incredibly badly by senior members of the monarchy.” If you don’t know, they believe that because Prince Harry and Meghan Markle don’t seem to get much censure at all.
Protected By The Queen

Notably, though, Ferguson isn’t entirely blameless in the way she lived her life. So, Sean mentioned some of her memorable mistakes over the years. And of course, one can’t forget the recent reveal of emails to Jeffrey Epstein. Still she seemed to maintain a good relationship with the late Queen Elizabeth.
In fact, the royal expert described it as a “very strong and sturdy relationship.” In fact, having taken over the care of the Queen’s Corgis seems to bear that out. But of course, the Queen and Prince Philip both passed on. And with that, it seems some protection for the former Duke and Duchess of York also disappeared.
Pointing Fingers At Hypocrisy
Focusing on current events, Sean claimed that Sarah Ferguson views their eviction and loss of titles as a “knee-jerk reaction.” Allegedly, she and Andrew suggested to King Charles: “Well, how about looking into your own side first?”
Naturally, they felt that Harry and Meghan’s continued media activity embarrassed the monarchy. Actually many people can agree with that. Furthermore, they highlighted that Lord Mandelson kept his peerage status despite Epstein links.

Then again, that would take an act of parliament rather than the king just throwing out a personal decision. Still, they felt justified in questioning why their own punishment seemed so harsh. Obviously, if the conversation really happened, they might feel justified in pointing it all out as being hypocritical.
Conflict Over Double Standards
Sean suggested the dispute arose directly with King Charles. Behind the scenes, some folks believe it was Prince William’s idea to deal harshly with Andrew and his ex. But, it was Charles, after all, who decided on title removals and eviction.
Allegedly, Sarah Ferguson also noted that the so-called “race row” hadn’t been dealt with hastily, and the fallout continues to this day. But, nothing was ever done about Princess Diana’s youngest son and his wife, Meghan Markle.
Not surprisingly, Prince Andrew and Sarah feel that it all amounts to double standards.
Viewers Reactions
It turned out that few people who watched the vlog feel anything for Sarah or Andrew. One of them opined in the comments, “It’s too late for Sarah and Andrew to redeem themselves. It doesn’t matter how hard they push back. The public won’t have it.”
Here are a few more responses from the discussion and some of them are a bit more flexible:
- The Sussexes and the Yorks should be handled in the same manner in my opinion. They are all bringing shame and embarrassment to the family and the people.
- I think fair enough. If Sarah and Andrew have their titles removed so should Harry and Meghan.
- When will this woman realise that the gravy train is no longer operational so she needs to leave the station.
