Sarah Ferguson and the rest of the former Duke of York’s family can’t escape the gossip because of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Apparently, one fallout was the fact that Fergie lost the freedom of York. But more interesting to royal family watchers is where the heck is she? Read on for more ideas on that.
Where Is Fergie?
Royal commentator, Neil Sean, chatted about the disappearance of Sarah Ferguson during his Daily News Headlines vlog on Saturday night.
Of course, he mentioned Princess Eugenie and Beatrice while he showed a picture of a family in total disarray. Next, he mentioned the honorary York title as simply “a nice gesture, a nice sort of thing, but it didn’t necessarily mean that much.”

Far more important, in his opinion is the fact that there’s a real mystery surrounding the whereabouts of Sarah. As talked about by others numerous times, Sean noted that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor remains “locked up in Sandringham.”
Vanishing Sarah
Obviousy, most people know exactly where Andrew is. But, his ex-wife seems to have vanished. Briefly, Sean touched on the theory she booked into and stayed in a wellness spa. But that wouldn’t have been a permanent state of affairs.
So then, he speculated that perhaps Sarah Ferguson stays with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in their Montecito mansion. Citing it as rumor, he doesn’t buy into it.
“Honestly I have got no idea if that is true or not,” he said, suggesting the story was likely “planted…particularly in the gossip columns.
In other words, tabloids hope that stories like that might “root her out.” Additionally, he reminded his followers that in the past, newspapers sometimes used that sort of tactic to force a public response.
The Montecito Theory
Of course, you can’t float a theory about Montecito without considering Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Perhaps you heard a rumor that Beatrice and her husband might move stateside.
Well, Sean doubts that would work out. After all, with the York family’s involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, these sort of things “are going to follow you around forever.”
Things Will Come Right?
Next up, the royal expert noted that Andrew still believes “there’s a chance to come back into the public domain.” Well, in Sean’s opinion that seems a bit “far fetched.” As for Sarah Ferguson, no one knows where she is or when she will “face the music.”
Certainly, right now, Sean seems to be correct that Sarah’s whereabouts engage folks. He called it “a fascinating story.” But for now, it remains a mystery.

In the comments section, some folks weighed in with their thoughts on Sarah and her family.
One of them penned, “Beatrice and Edo could ‘blend in’ in the U.S. UNLESS they are seen with Harry and Meghan Markle. That would be a PR disaster for them.”
Here are a few more responses from the discussion:
- I personally don’t care where Sarah, is and never really give her a thought.
- I think that if Beatrice and Eugenie would go to William, hat in hand, and tell him about all of their business dealing, William would help them navigate through everything in the most private way possible. If things need to be cleaned up, clean them up.
- I don’t think Markle wants Fergie anywhere near her. Fergie has nothing Markle needs.
- Fergie has proven that one can keep out of the eyes of cameras etc if one wants to!
