Sarah Ferguson disappeared for a long time, but she’s been located. That finally ends the speculation in the whereabouts of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s ex. Read on for more details.

Tracked Down In Europe

It turns out that she hasn’t been living in a spa. Nor is she dead, as some rumors suggested. Okay, so that was awkward because if she’d really died, headlines would’ve rocked the world. But The Sun tracked her down. Apparently, Sarah’s been lurking in a remote European hideout.

Photos that belong exclusively to The Sun revealed her somewhere in the Austrian Alps. According to Matt Wilkinson, the outlet’s Royal Editor, she’s been “emerging from a hideaway” after hunkering down for months. In fact, it’s been “seven months” now.

A Costly Hide-Away

Of course, it can’t be the cheapest place on the planet to hide out. So, that puts to rest rumors that she’d sell the whole royal family down the river for a few dollars more. Still, that doesn’t rule out a secret benefactor.

In his explanation, Wilkinson said that the Alpine location was a “very closely guarded secret” until now. And the report suggested she very carefully chose the place to “avoid being seen” by the public and investigators alike.

Folks Want To Talk To Sarah

In a way, folks opine, she’s rather a bit like “the Scarlet Pimpernel.” Actually, it’s not all that good as a comparison. If you don’t know, he was really a fictional person named Sir Percy Blakeney in a novel by Baroness Emmuska Orczy.

Very good at hiding away, that’s where the comparison to Sarah Ferguson ends. That’s because he was a silent hero, a forerunner to the likes of Batman. Meanwhile, Sarah’s rep falls almost as quickly as that of former Prince Andrew with regard to the Epstein association.

Safely Out Of Reach For Now

How long can Sarah Ferguson remain holed up in her “£2,000 a night Lakeside Resort”? Well, she can’t stay there forever, unless someone offers her a job as a waitress at the ski resort. But for now, she sits fairly safely tucked away “out of the reach of the UK and US authorities.”

Of course, the idea of a warrant floats around because a US congressman recently asked her to testify about her “close personal and business ties” to Epstein. So far, she’s not suspected of committing a crime, but influential folks would be interested to hear more about what she might know about former Prince Andrew.

While he was arrested for allegedly leaking sensitve information,  the US Congress hopes for her input as they also investigate the Epstein files. For now, it seems that Sarah Ferguson will remain in her alpine chalet far from the public eye.

There were rumors that perhaps she’d gone to Dubai, or perhaps snuck off to stay with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Meanwhile, all of that wasn’t even close.

Viewers React

In the comments section, royal family followers had a lot to say about Sarah’s bolthole. One person opined, “Two thousand pound a night for where she was staying ?? And she still cries ‘poor’ !! Just sickening and disgraceful.”

Here are a few more responses from the discussion that followed:

  • Poor thing, trapped in a ski resort.
  • I wish I was her level of broke. It would be nice to stay at a ski resort.
  • America isn’t asking its own to testify, but requesting Sarah to testify. That’s rich.
  • The only reason anyone wants her found, is in the hope that she gets arrested and has to answer a lot of questions she would rather not answer.
