King Charles and Prince Andrew have been at loggerheads over Royal Lodge for years now, but apparently, Sarah Ferguson isn’t a concerned party in the brothers’ dispute.
Originally, Charles’ plan was to offer Andrew the more modest Frogmore Cottage – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former UK residence, if you recall – on accounts that the Duke is no longer financially equipped to maintain the grander mansion. Like I said, that was the plan.
Andrew has so far refused to budge that it seems King Charles might have well given up hope of evicting him from the impressive property.
All We Know About Sarah Ferguson’s Postponed Show ‘Storytime with Fergie and Friends’
The Duchess of York’s beloved ‘Storytime with Fergie and Friends’ provided royal fans with an insight into the impressive estate she shares with her ex-husband Prince Andrew.
She filmed episodes for the YouTube channel inside the Royal Lodge, often showing off tantalizing views of the mansion’s vast grounds and beautiful architecture.
The Duchess would often read children’s stories on the channel, which has garnered 60,000 subscribers before she went dormant after receiving her cancer diagnosis.
She took a break in the summer of 2023 to recover from breast cancer surgery. At the time, she wrote, “Storytime is taking a break for the summer. See you in September.”
However, the Duchess is yet to return following her hiatus and it’s speculated it may have something to do with Charles demanding that Andrew leave Royal Lodge.
In a previous interview with ¡HOLA! TV, Sarah reacted dismissively to the rumors, saying, “Don’t always believe what you read.”
When pressed to share some more insight on the issue, she simply said, “I don’t know. I take every day as it comes.”
Royal Lodge is a 30-room mansion located in Windsor Great Park. Some of its features include a conservatory, a grand sitting room and a cozy lounge.
It is where Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson raised their two daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
