Sarah Ferguson & Prince Andrew Remain Besties Post-Divorce – Details HERE!

Sarah Ferguson And Prince Andrew No one gets married thinking about their divorce, but 50% of marriages end in divorce and some areas memorable (for all the wrong reasons) as the nuptials.

In 1986 Prince Andrew married Sarah Ferguson and no doubt divorce was the farthest thing from their minds. Nonetheless, the day came when they took a trip to Splitsville and Sarah is sharing a bit of how that transpired.

Many Remember Andrew And Sarah’s Wedding And Their Divorce

The Duchess of York told Harper’s Bazaar about how her marital issues arose and grew. Apparently the rift began in 1988 after the birth of their first daughter, Princess Beatrice.

The sticking point was Andrew’s naval career, which saw him away from home and hearth for long periods of time. According to Sarah, she spent her first pregnancy alone due to Andrew’s work commitments.
Princess Eugenie was born two years later and two years after that they announced their separation.

Andrew And Sarah’s Marriage Suffered In Part Because He Was Rarely Home

Sarah said, “I married my boy, who happened to be a prince and a sailor because I loved him – my only condition being, ‘I have to be with you.’”

Unfortunately, two weeks after the wedding, Andrew was told he was being shipped out to sea. “I spent my entire first pregnancy alone,” Sarah said. “When Beatrice was born, Andrew got 10 days of shore leave and then he left I cried.”

Following her divorce from the Duke of York Sarah was allowed to keep her title as Duchess of York
The couple has remained infamously friendly since their divorce. At the present time, they live together and were recently hauled into court over a chalet they bought together but failed to pay for.

Andrew And Sarah Spend Tons Of Time With Their Daughters Eugenie And Beatrice

Additionally, they are regularly seen and photographed together at public events especially now that Princess Beatrice prepares to marry Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

After the divorce, the Sunday Telegraph reported that Sarah agreed to be paid £20,000 a year from the Royal Family, £462,000 in cash, and given £660,000 to buy a house.

Additionally, she is said to have been given almost £2million for trust funds for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie while it is alleged that Prince Andrew agreed to pay for the girls’ education.

Prior to Eugenie marrying Jack Brooksbank in 2018, she and her sister lived in an apartment together.
