In fact the truth about Kate’s viewing habits were revealed by her chatty husband Prince William. According to him, the Duchess of Cambridge is a “huge fan” of Strictly Come Dancing. The show is the U.K. version of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
He let the cat out of the bag when he ran into judge Shirley Ballas and host Claudia Winkleman at a 2019 charity gala. According to Hello! magazine he told the women, “I have watched the show [Strictly] a couple of times. Catherine is a huge fan.”
He then spilled that her mom Carole watches it with her. “And my mother-in-law loves it,” he added.

In case you haven’t seen either show, the dance competitions pair celebs with pro dancers, and runs for weeks with eliminations and drama galore. Before the pandemic the dancers performed in front of a live studio audience and choreographed dances to an assigned theme and genre.

So, what does Prince William like to watch at home? He has said that he watches Netflix and he’s said he likes BBC’s show Killing Eve. According to producer Sally Woodward Gentle and costume designer Phoebe de Gaye, William told them, “he loved it. He talked about the dark humor of it, and Jodie [Comer] and Sandra [Oh], how amazing they both are. And he talked about the humor you can get through the costumes, which is what Phoebe is so clever at.”
