Charles And Camilla Haven’t Met Baby Archie
According to reports, one of the reasons why Charles and Camilla are yet to meet their little grandson Archie is because they were on an official trip to Germany during the young tot’s birth. They also haven’t been in London lately, which would make it a little hard for them to stop by Frogmore Cottage at Windsor Castle.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, meanwhile, were on a visit to Wales during Archie’s birth. And while they said that they are looking forward to meeting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, they haven’t done so yet even though they didn’t have anything in their schedule this past weekend.
However, Clarence House said that Charles and Camilla would be visiting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the coming days while William and Kate also have a visit penciled in their diary.
Many Senior Members Have Not Met Baby Archie
For a lot of royal observers, this doesn’t come off as much of a surprise. That’s because it’s very common that it takes a good for days and if not a full week before senior members of the royal family visit a newborn baby. This way it gives the mother and child more time to get acclimated at home before they begin accepting visitors.
With that said though, Queen Elizabeth and her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh were one of the first members of the royal family to meet Baby Archie along with Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland. Reports say that Doria will be in London for the next several weeks in order to help the Duchess with her baby during her maternity leave. We absolutely cannot wait to see more photos of Archie soon!
