British royal family news divulges that Meghan Markle turned down all the privileges and perks of being a royal so she could return to her roots—blogging. Yep, Meghan is back online, pushing herself via a reactivated Instagram page.
On Jan. 1 the Duchess of Sussex began the new year by sharing a look into her personal life with a little video shot at the beach. Here’s what to know about Meghan’s latest and greatest project.
Royal Family News – Meghan Markle Back In Charge
Markle gave up her celebrity career in 2020, the same time she and Prince Harry announced their grand new life plan which included ditching the monarchy for “financial freedom.”
Apparently the freedom needs a little more moolah to keep it afloat after five years of failure: Dior rejected Meghan as its face, Spotify called the traitors grifters, and The Hollywood Reporter declared the pair “losers.”
There aren’t a lot of opportunities open to the royal runaways now that they’ve shown their four faces to the world.
Thus, Markle posted a 30-second tease on Wednesday morning “to mark the first day of the new year.” According to Fox News, the Diva Duchess “wore a long, white linen shirt paired with white pants while running down the beach near her home in Montecito, California, in a video captured by Prince Harry.”
“No caption was necessary for the post, as she drew ‘2025’ in the sand before giggling while running through the frame.” That giggle juice will get you every time.
Royal Family News – Harry And Meghan Back Where They Started
It’s reported that hours later Walmart Wallis had over 400,000 followers on her Instagram account—but she blocked comments. Oh my, censorship is not a good way to start off with the little people.
Prior to this giggly video, Harry and Meghan had their own @SussexRoyal account. It was killed off in 2020 when the couple accepted Tyler Perry’s charity and recamped to California.
Royal Family News – Meghan’s Back to Her Humble Start
Meghan told “The Cut” in 2022 that one day she might make an online return. Guess January 1, 2025 is that day—just a day late and a dollar short as in all of her ventures. “Do you want to know a secret?” she told the interviewer “I’m getting back … on Instagram.”
Tell us royal fans, how long do you think Meghan will stick it out with her brand new shiny Insta page? And are you thrilled to read it but not be able to comment?
