Shoppers All Say The Same Thing About The Queen’s Granddaughter Working Behind The Till

One of the Queen’s youngest grandchildren, Lady Louise will be going off to college in a few weeks time. After getting her A-levels result, Lady Louise has decided to continue her education by studying English at St. Andrews. Yes, it’s the same uni where Prince William and Kate first met.

While she waited for her results, she took up a mere minimum wage job at a garden center.

Lady Louise Is A Favorite With Customers, A Customer Confirms

After turning 18, the Queen’s granddaughter Lady Louise decided to take up a £6.85 summer job. While some shoppers were shocked to find the youngster, who turned down the offer to become a working royal in favor of pursuing her dreams, working at the garden, others were thrilled by her manners.

“I knew the cost-of-living crisis was bad, but I didn’t think I’d ever see a grandchild of the Queen working in a garden centre,” a shopper quipped.

Louise, who is the only daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex, worked on the tills, greeted customers and pruned and potted plants.

A shopper, who encountered the young royal at work, said: “I couldn’t believe it was Lady Louise — I had to look twice.”

But it’s not only the part of being the Queen’s granddaughter that thrills shoppers, her happy manners sets her apart as well. “She is a really modest and sweet young woman who is polite and attentive to customers. She seemed to be loving the job.

“You’d never imagine the Queen’s grand-daughter would take on a role working behind a till.”

Another customer added: “The staff seemed to adore her. It’s not every day you buy your begonias off a royal.”

Lady Louise will be heading off to St. Andrews next month to continue her studies. Her mother, Sophie, once disclosed that she encourages her kids to seek education, even though she would support them if they opted to become working royals.
