British royal family news divulges that the Invictus Games will be held in the U.K. in 2027. That would be the perfect time for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to visit his family and try to get back in their good graces.

Except that they are afraid to go to Britain despite easily traipsing around Nigeria and Colombia without a care in the world. Whatever. Will the Markle’s act in typical fashion in 2027 and make the Games all about them? Here’s what one royal expert thinks.

In 2027 the Invictus Games take place in Birmingham, England. At least they will if the organization survives. After Harry bought accepted ESPN’s Pat Tillman Award on behalf of the Games, the head of the outfit resigned.

According to royal expert Jack Royston, it is tricky predicting if the Markles will dare set foot in Birmingham despite the multitude of photo ops.

He told the “Royal Report” podcast: “It means choosing awkward debates about whether the royals should attend the tournament. And whether it’s a snub when certain relatives inevitably don’t go.”

Royston doubts that William and Kate, and Charles and Camilla, will bother to show up at the Games allegedly started by Harry.

However, he thinks that Princess Eugenie is totally willing to show up for traitor Harry, just as she did after he defected to the US.

Besides the awkward nature of the Markles being in the UK, “there’s also the issue of returning to the U.K. and tabloids.” Royston notes that Harry and Meghan like to sue the British press, another awkward reality that might keep the Markles in Montecito, California.

In a July 2024 interview for ITV’s Tabloids on Trial documentary, Harry declared that the UK simply isn’t safe enough for his wife: “And all it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff to act on what they have read.”

“And whether it’s a knife or acid, whatever it is, and these are things that are of genuine concern for me. It’s one of the reasons why I won’t bring my wife back to this country.”

Harry is demanding that the monarchy give him and Meghan the same level and type of security as the king and queen enjoy.

Maybe he should have thought of that before trashing his family, the monarchy, and most especially the British taxpayers. Then again, in the words of Aristotle, you can’t fix stupid.
