The Countess and Earl of Wessex, aka Sophie and Andrew, have been performing some of their royal duties via video and as a result, are being exposed to a wider audience. Consequently, they have been embraced for their sense of duty, and royal watchers have felt welcomed into their lives and home.

For instance, when the Countess of Wessex opened the NHS Nightingale Hospital North East via video conference, she showed off her home, Bagshot Park, in so doing.

Appearing on video she said, “To all of you who have helped create this facility, including the NHS staff, the Armed Forces, local government teams and private sector contributors, thank you. Your determination, teamwork, and skill has resulted in a hospital that will help to provide care to anyone in need. You have demonstrated that we are meeting the challenge of COVID-19 head-on.” During her speech, photos in fancy gold frames were seen in the background.

In another instance, the Countess participated in a video call with an air ambulance crew. During that shoot, viewers saw her gorgeous china cabinet in the background.

Prince Edward Has Also Shown Sneak Peeks Of His Residence

For his part, Prince Edward virtually opened the NHS Nightingale Hospital Bristol, giving viewers a glimpse into his home office. What’s inside the Prince’s inner sanctum? Copious bookshelves chock full of knickknacks as well as select books and movies.

Savvy royal watchers can also see peeks of the Wessex’s outer home by checking out their social media. In one instance they are seen on the outside of their residence when they went outdoors as part of a UK-wide initiative to clap for healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis.

Prince Edward also hosted a virtual celebration for the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award recipients on what seems to be his front deck.
