But amid Meghan and hubby Prince Harry’s reported financial worries, the Duchess of Sussex might feel tempted to star in a reboot. Because experts estimate that Meghan could make more than £300,000 per episode in a Suits spin-off amid the couple’s cash crisis. And that amount represents significantly more than the Duchess of Sussex made when she first starred in the legal drama.

Meanwhile, fans have become enthusiastic about seeing a reboot ever since Suits star Patrick J. Adams teased the possibility. And Adams hinted that he could return with Meghan for the all-new spin-off.

Adams and Markle co-starred in the legal drama as Mike Ross and Rachel Zane. But both exited Suits in the season seven finale as Mike and Rachel tied the knot. The fictional couple then headed to Seattle to set up their own law firm.

However, Patrick shared that he hopes Meghan returns for the reboot. And the Suits star added about the spin-off, “Yes, yes let’s go, I’ll do it. Yeah I’m ready, Mike and Rachel in Seattle.”

When Meghan starred as Rachel Zane with Adams as Michael Ross, she made £37,000 per episode. And the Duchess of Sussex filmed more than 100 episodes of Suits, earning an annual salary of £333,000. Because of the new interest in Suits and per her contract, Meghan continues to profit from her role. And the entire cast receives money each time episodes air.

But public relations expert Mayah Riaz believes that Meghan could make a “strategic move” by starring in the Suits reboot. And she pointed out that the legal drama’s spin-off would give the Duchess of Sussex “an opportunity to reconnect with her loyal fan base and potentially attract new viewers to the show.”

But the PR expert offered a qualifier. And she predicted that if and when Meghan appears in the Suits reboot, “it would be for a cameo role rather than appearing in a longer story line.” ‌As a result, Meghan might make less than in a more prominent plot.

However, Riaz estimated that “given Meghan’s increased profile since leaving Suits, it is reasonable to expect that her asking price would be significantly higher than her previous salary.” And she estimated that the Duchess of Sussex could negotiate a fee in the range of $300,000-$400,000 (£235,000-£314,000) per episode.
