That’s because it seems increasingly obvious that members of the monarchy either look ‘miserable’ or that their work is ‘pointless.’ In other words, there are a lot of people who just don’t understand why the royal family even exists anymore.

In fact, during their annual walk from Sandringham to church on Christmas morning, a lot of royals, like Prince William and Kate Middleton, or even Queen Camilla for that matter, looked like they wanted to be anywhere but there with the rest of their family.

Clearly, no one knows what is really going on behind closed palace doors, but it seems like the royal family’s body language in public is doing all of the talking for them. Whatever positive energy and charisma they must have had in the past is simply gone.

But then again, this might just be the new ‘normal’ for the royal family. That, or unless someone new marries into the family and brings a jolt of excitement the same way Princess Diana did in the early 1980’s. Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Could This Be The Beginning Of The End For The British Royal Family?

Some even commented with, “William (& Kate) are the heirs – and quite dull. The others are either too young or old. They seem genuinely terrified of Andrew… not digging below anything that is not revealed by someone else.”

Another critic of the royal family wrote, “I sound like a broken record at this point but they had an opportunity to modernize with Harry and Meghan that is not likely to happen again. The smart move would have been to embrace their popularity and vitality.”

And then there was this comment as well: “It definitely seems like coasting on the goodwill QEII had by trying to imitate what she did.”

“That only works for so long before people expect to see something new, even if it isn’t on the same level.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
