The British Royals Get Animated In New HBO Series The Prince

The British Royal Family is about to get animated. There are new reports that indicate HBO Max is developing an animated comedy series satirizing Queen Elizabeth and her family. But what makes the series so interesting is that it will come from the point-of-view of 6-year-old Prince George.

The British Royals Get Animated In New HBO Series ‘The Prince’

The series is the brainchild of Family Guy Producer and Instagram sensation Gary Janetti, whose own popular account has garnered attention for poking fun of the royal family and all of the media coverage that they receive on a daily basis. The account is told through the eyes of little Prince George, who is the eldest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton. He is also the Future King of England, behind both his father and his grandfather, Prince Charles.

The series will be written and produced by Janetti, who will also voice 6-year-old George. “I’m thrilled to be working at HBO Max and bringing them yet another series about a family ruthlessly fighting for the throne,” said Janetti.

Come back here for all of the latest news on Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the rest of the royal family right here. The rest of the cast will include Orlando Bloom, Condola Rashad, Lucy Punch, Tom Hollander, Alan Cumming, Frances De La Tour, and Iwan Rheon. Bloom stars as Prince Harry with the rest of the cast as follows: Rashad as Meghan Markle, Punch as Kate Middleton, Hollander as Prince Philip and Prince Charles, Cumming as George’s butler Owen, De La Tour as Queen Elizabeth and Rheon as Prince William.

The British Royals News: ‘The Prince’ To Land On HBO Max

“We’re so excited to bring the world Gary’s created on Instagram over to HBO Max, where our viewers can discover what his Instagram fans already know – that George can be hilarious, shocking, and surprisingly sweet,” said Sarah Aubrey, head of original content, HBO Max. “We can’t wait to see what Gary does with a bigger canvas to paint on than just a 1:1 square.”

There’s no doubt that royal fans and Gary Janetti’s Instagram followers are equally as excited, and if not more. The satirical writer has about 1 million followers and counting and has been posting ‘Megxit’ updates (through the eyes of young George, of course) on almost a daily basis.
