The Latest Scoop On King Charles’ Abdication Plans

British royal family news reveals that as per standard procedure, Prince William and Kate Middleton have been “readying to assume leadership roles.”

In reality monarchs are in training from day one, and so this is not news but rather an observation. An observation that has sad overtones as 76-year-old King Charles is undergoing cancer treatment.

Tradition has it that a new monarch is elevated at the moment of death of the old monarch. It’s a sad reality that as a nation and family mourn, there is also somber cause for celebration.

It shouldn’t be surprising that Prince William and Kate Middleton are “readying to assume leadership roles.”

King Charles’ Plans Abdication

According to GeoTv, King Charles’ abdication plans “have been disclosed amid the monarch’s health concerns.”

Royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital that while King Charles has no intention of giving up the throne in the near future, anything can happen at any time. Charles and Queen Camilla are now on an official state visit to Italy.

The royal pundit noted that the last time a royal abdicated, it resulted in chaos so the monarchy won’t want to repeat that mistake. As a result, Prince William has reportedly begun to take on more and more duties in support of his father.

Will Charles Abdicate?

Part of William’s stepping up to more roles includes preparations for transitions of responsibility: “Both Prince William and Princess Catherine have been readying to assume leadership roles with an accelerated schedule of preparation for their future positions as king and queen. But most certainly, they are not in any way actively seeking an immediate ascension.”

Fordwich explained that the meticulous planning is meant to ensure that all senior roles are focused on the best interests of the monarchy’s stability and continuity.

That stability and continuity took a huge hit in 2020 when Meghan and Harry Markle of Sussex ran away from the castle and launched a verbal war of words that continues to this day.

There has been much conjecture about the possibility that William strips the traitors of any remaining vestiges of royalty when he becomes king.
