One of the reasons, according to Jennie Bond, former BBC royal correspondent, is because of how well she has adjusted to royal life. It certainly isn’t for everyone, some have difficulties adjusting and for others, it leads to divorce. Kate seems to be handling it splendidly well.

Bond also said that Kate has a “quiet dignity” which makes her a favorite in the Royal Family as well as with the public. The royal correspondent also stated that Kate is doing very well.

Who is Queen Elizabeth’s Favorite

Despite Kate ranking of the top people in Queen Elizabeth’s family, she is not the absolute favorite. Bonds said that Sophie, Countess of Wessex is probably winning that race. Bonds said that the queen is “very, very fond” of Sophie and she is usually by Elizabeth’s side.

“The Queen is very, very fond of Sophie, Countess of Wessex – she often takes her place beside the Queen… But I think she admires the way that Catherine, as she’s known in royal circles, has adapted to the job being a Queen-in-waiting.”

It is stated that one of the reasons for this is that Elizabeth and Sophie both place significant importance on their faith.
