The Commonwealth Day Ceremony in the UK was a bust this year. On Monday March 11th, King Charles recorded his highly anticipated Commonwealth service speech.
King Charles’ – Commonwealth Speech Drama
Sadly he couldn’t attend the big event because he is undergoing cancer treatment. But, the idea was that the UK people could still watch his speech online. But, there was a slight problem, the Palace shared the WRONG video on their social media account.
Per People Magazine, “The royal family’s official social media accounts shared the wrong link. Instead of the royals’ official YouTube channel, the speech was linked to the personal YouTube account of the Palace’s Head of Digital Engagement, Emma Goodey.

Shortly after, the post was removed and replaced with the correct link. The video was also taken down from Goodey’s page.”

Buckingham Palace Can’t Afford Any More Mistakes
Everyone makes mistakes, but Buckingham Palace had no room for mistakes after Kate Middleton’s photoshop scandal the day before.

On Sunday, Kate Middleton shared her first official photo with her kids in honor of Mother’s Day after being radio silent and MIA for nearly two months.
Within a few hours major photo mills like the Associated Press and Getty pulled the photo and stated they would no longer be circulating it because it was photo-shopped.
The scrutiny was so bad Kate Middleton had to release a new statement claiming she edited the photo herself and didn’t know it would be a big deal.
