New scrutiny has been given to how the Royals fund their lifestyles, and contrary to popular belief, they are not fully funded by taxpayers. The senior, working members of the monarchy are independently wealthy via inheritances, crown estates, and allowances. Their combined net worth is thought to be around $88 billion.
In light of Harry’s windfall, here is a look at where the royals fall in line according to their bank accounts.
Prince Harry ($60 Million)
Prince Harry remains fifth in line to the throne and it was rumored that he once donated his $45,000 salary from the Army Air Corps to charity.
Harry gained access to a £13m inheritance when he turned 30 and recently received a lump sum from his great-great grandmother. In contrast, Harry’s SIL, Kate Middleton is estimated to be worth about $10 Million.
The Princess of Wales was a commoner until she married Prince William in 2011. Despite how sketchy the word ‘commoner’ sounds, her family was wealthy with a reported net worth of $50 million owing to their online firm Party Pieces (now bankrupt).

Today Kate’s wardrobe is paid for by King Charles, and most of her travel costs are funded by the countries she visits.
Prince George Has $3.6 Billion?
Kate’s son Prince George is only 11 but he already has much, much more money than his mother thanks to being in the line of succession. Most of his money will be inherited as the prince is not expected to work a real job, not even for one day.
In contrast, Prince Andrew is said to be worth around $5 million, despite his reputation being in tatters and his days as a senior, working royal long gone.
According to Idolator, “Prince Andrew is still massively rich thanks to hard work (who would have thought?) … He’s also got some great stock market investments and property holdings along with owning the football team London Angels, a vodka brand, and a perfume.”

Although Camilla Parker-Bowles is the UK’s current queen, her wealth is a surprisingly modest $5 million.
Camilla Parker-Bowles married King Charles in April 2005 but she was before this she had her own wealth. “Her father was the Vice Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex, and she grew up on a $2 million estate in Sussex.”
Still, we have to hand it to Camilla for being a practical lady, before she became the Duchess of Cornwall and later the Queen, she worked as a receptionist.
How Much is Prince William Worth?
According to the outlet, Prince William can lay claim to $120 million dollars. He is next in line to the throne and most of his assets will be inherited. On his 30th birthday he inherited £13m in trust and estate from his late mother, Diana.
He also took home almost half a million a year in investment profits by the time he was 21, and receives an allowance from his father that’s thought to be in the neighborhood of $4.6 million.
In 2022 alone, he inherited the private Duchy of Cornwall estate, a property that is worth an incredible $1.2 billion.
