Royal News – Meghan Markle’s Annus Horribilis
Before she became the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan was famous for playing the role of Rachel Zane on the Netflix series Suits. Can you believe that she was “barred from saying ‘poppycock’ in order to avoid hurting British sentiments?” It’s true.
According to Geo TV, the cable drama’s producer and writer Aaron Korsch spilled some tea about a line that he meant to be used to honor his British in-laws. He said: “My wife’s family, when they have a topic to discuss that might be sensitive, they use the word ‘poppycock.’”

He added, “So, in the episode, Mike and Rachel were going to have a thing, and as a nod to my in-laws, we were going to have her say, ‘My family would say poppycock.’ And the Royal Family did not want her saying the word.” Wow. We’re surprised Meghan didn’t file a grievance.
He wasn’t done thrashing the royals, he went on to say: “They didn’t want to put the word ‘poppycock’ in her mouth. I presume because they didn’t want people cutting things together of her saying ‘c**k.’ So, we had to change it to ‘bulls***.'” Which is so much better.
