The U.K. Government Issues Statement About Kate Middleton

Many around the world have grown increasingly worried about the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton. She stepped out of the public eye in January, due to abdominal surgery, and hasn’t been seen since December 25, 2023, during the traditional Royal Family Christmas Day services.

London’s Kensington Palace released a statement noting that Kate would re-enter her royal duties, around Easter time, since she is currently recovering from her operation. The U.K. government has also recently commented on the Princess of Wales and her whereabouts.

As of this writing, TMZ released a video of Kate and her husband, Prince William on Monday, March 18, at a farm shop near their home this past weekend.

However, due to the far away shot, and slight graininess of the video, some are arguing that Kate does not “exactly” look like Kate, which has added fuel to the fire when it comes to conspiracy theories regarding her whereabouts, and why she’s been out of the public eye for so long.

After all, releasing the photoshopped picture of Kate and her kids recently has the public questioning how much they can trust the royals when it comes to things of this nature. Moreover, the worry that Kate is not “okay” has been consuming some fans.

It’s important to note that Kensington Palace has not officially commented on the TMZ video.

The U.K. Government’s Statement On Kate Middleton

On Tuesday, March 19, Lucy Frazer, the U.K.’s Culture Secretary Minister gave an interview to LBC, a British talk radio station. She notes that the Princess of Wales is a “remarkable lady”, and Ms. Frazer believes that Kate deserves a bit of privacy, at this time.

She did not comment on whether or not she had concerns for Kate but did state that Middleton is currently recovering from surgery, and she believes the public should respect her privacy.

      I feel that the situation with the Princess of Wales is completely outrageous. The media is fueling the flame on a daily basis. This needs to stop immediately. Catherine, The Princess of Wales should be granted her Privacy until she receives clearance from her Physicians, and then continue on with her responsibilities to the Royal Family. I think that the Princess will address her surgery in due time.
