There’s a new report that suggests the Windors are worried that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will overshadow them this summer during the general elections in the UK. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

There’s a new report that says Kensington Palace is worried that Harry and Meghan are seen as the more fashionable version of Prince William and Kate Middleton, especially after their very successful trip to Nigeria. And for the royal family, this is certainly a problem.

One source close to the situation even said, “The senior royals, especially William and Kate, are terrified of one thing above all others: that Harry and Meghan will continue to organize trips across the world until they are seen as the public face of the royal family.”

“The fear is made worse because William knows that with his wife stricken with cancer he cannot compete and he can’t stop the Meghan and Harry rollercoaster.”

The insider also added, “You only have to look at photographs of the couple during their recent Nigeria tour to see that that they are determined to be seen as a more relaxed, more fashionable version of William and Kate.”

Royal Family News – The Windsors Feel Intimiated

Of course, Harry and Meghan themselves haven’t made any comments about the matter. But then again, they don’t have any immediate plans to visit the UK this summer. So whatever concerns that the royal family may have might not be as big as they are making it out to be.

It could just be that the royals are simply intimidated by the Sussexes and are continuously keeping an eye on what they do, even if it is from a distance.

That said, it’s highly unlikely that Harry and Meghan are even paying attention to anything that is going on across the pond right now.
