At least, that’s how it seems like in a new novel that is inspired by the Los Angeles-based social worker. ‘Royal Holiday’ by Jasmine Guillory tells the story of a woman whose daughter is a stylist for the royal family. She travels to England to spend the holidays at Sandringham Estate, where she meets and falls in love with the Queen’s private secretary. Here’s what you need to know.

There’s A New Book Inspired By Meghan Markle’s Mother Doria Ragland

The book tells the story of a woman by the name of Vivian Forest, who is loosely based on Meghan Markle’s mother Doria. Just like Doria, she is a social worker from California who gets to spend the holidays with the royals. She soon finds herself falling for the Queen’s private secretary, a man by the name of Malcolm Hudson.

According to reports, the novel does a good job of giving an inside look to how outsiders are treated by the monarchy. And while no one really knows what goes on behind closed doors, it appears as though Vivian and her daughter are being treated well by members of this fictional royal family.

Meghan Markle Royal News: A Fairy Tale Romance

Yet, it’s also been noted that there are some unrealistic moment in the book. Experts believe that it is highly unlikely that someone who is the main channel of communication between the Head of State and the Government would have enough time to go on dates or horseback riding with a love interest. But then again this is a fictional novel, right? Anything can certainly happen when there’s enough love, interest, passion and drama in between the pages. Hey, Vivian didn’t travel all the way from Los Angeles to London just for the tea and cucumber sandwiches, right? The woman is looking for her prince too!

So far neither Doria Ragland nor Meghan Markle have made any comments about the book, but a lot of royal fans can’t help but wonder if the two of them took a peak at it. Who knows, there might be a real fairy tale romance waiting to happen for Doria!
