There’s A Royal Power Play Between Kate Middleton And Queen Camilla

It looks like there might be a royal power play between two of the most important women in the British monarchy: Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla.

That’s because according to The Daily Mirror, the Princess of Wales apparently refused to curtsy in front of Queen Camilla and yes, the world noticed.

This prompted a lot of people to wonder if there is indeed a long-standing feud between the two women.

While no one knows what might have happened behind closed doors, it doesn’t seem like Queen Camilla has put much of an effort to get close to Kate Middleton these last several years, and even during her cancer crisis.

Even with that said, it seems like Kate Middleton is also making a stance on her end. It might be safe to assume that if she’s not going to get any respect from the Queen of England, then she’s not going to give any, either.

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “I think there’s always been tension between the two couples. Harry even alluded to that in his book. But Kate has always made sure to be seen curtseying to Charles and Camilla even when they ignore her.”

Another critic wrote, “So now to me the interesting part is that this story is being run at all. Kate may have refused to curtsy to Camilla at an unknown event at some point in the past? Um, okay?”

And then there was this comment as well: “Camilla has played the game much longer and much better than Kate. And Camilla has better media connections too. Kate should realize that Camilla will expose the Middletons if she feels like it. Kate remains an outsider in those circles and she won’t win in a battle with Camilla.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter and at this point i’ts doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more t ocome.
