It looks like there might have been a legitimate reason as to why Princess Eugenie has decided to drop Prince Harry. That, or at least make sure that she isn’t seen with her cousin in public anymore.

That’s because there’s a new report that suggests Prince William is looking to make both Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice full-time working royals the moment that he becomes the next king of England.

Clearly, Eugenie knows that she’s got no choice but to now be close with the royals while also doing her best to distance herself from Prince Harry. The last thing that she needs is an enemy from within.

Not only that, but Prince William would be none too pleased if he knew that Princess Eugenie still remained as close to Harry as she once was before, especially now that he wants to bring her into the royal fold.

Of course, royal fans and critics alike certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Princess Eugenie Needs To Keep Her Distance

Some have even commented with, “The work ethic of the York sisters is pretty average to any working professional woman out there who has children and who can also volunteer in their free time.”

Another royal critic wrote, “I hope that if William brings on his cousins, he’ll fund all the older generation to retire too.”

“I have no doubt ALL of the cousins would happily be working royals as none of them seem all that successful outside of the bubble. Their jobs have always seemed more like courtesy jobs that garner their employers royal adjacency.”

And then there was this comment as well: “These stories about William’ and what he will do as king are so boring and repetitive at a certain point people will just stop caring. There is little interest in the York sisters outside the UK. Does anyone really care whether they are working royals or not?”
