That’s because the future queen of England would focus on other aspects of her life, like raising her three children and her home life. In other words, she doesn’t want to put all of her energy in her royal duties, engagements and public appearances anymore. And who can blame her?

According to Us Weekly, one source close to the situation put it this way, “Royal aides and event planners often receive short notice days in advance. Due to Kate’s day-to-day health assessments, there can be last-minute decisions.”

“Kate isn’t focused on keeping up appearances. She’s focused on her recovery. Once that happens, things will change,” notes the source. “So they’re getting in as much family time as 
possible.”

Some even took to social media to comment with, “So she’s retiring from royal duties. She will be part-time at best going forward. In America part time is 20 hours a week. So no. She will work a few times every few months.”

Another critic wrote rather sarcastically, “Yes, no matter how ill or exhausted Kate may be, she always gathers her strength and shows up to Wimbledon.”

“It’s a hardship, but once there she will be cheered and adored by her subjects as she sits and has a drink to recover from pushing through to live up to her responsibilities. What a true queen in the making she is!”

And then there was this comment as well: “It’s ridiculous when they try to present it as this great responsibility they have, without their engagement the whole GB would fall apart.”

“Girl all you need is a wave, keep up that your pantyhose are in place and suffer a couple of pictures. And that happens once or twice a month, so you can come prepared.”
