British royal family news reveals that before meeting Prince Harry, Rachel Meghan Markle was famous for her role as Rachel Zane on Suits. According to Meghan she has “no intention” of returning to real work, aka acting. She’s now a jam entrepreneur and it must be a lucrative gig if she can shun the entertainment industry.

Meghan Markle Was on Suits

Harris was at the Groundlings 50th Anniversary Event in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 19 and she talked to Us Weekly about Meghan. The comedienne said that she only acted opposite Meghan in one scene but that Meghan was “great.”

After rumors of a Suits reboot hit, it was rumored that Meghan would be back for a second go-round. But in a now infamous interview, her co-stars nixed that idea by saying they no longer had “her number.”

Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Won’t Act Again

Meghan spent seven years playing Rachel Zane on USA Network’s show Suits. Her character was a paralegal who traded up to an attorney role, much like the duchess’s real life—she’s now married to her second husband, Prince Harry.

Harris remarked “What I love about Megan is that I met her way before [Suits] and she just wanted to live her dream and be a working actress. She succeeded at that, so it’s just great that she happened to find a nice guy.”

Royal News: Rachel Markle Played Rachel Zane

Harris portrayed recurring character Sheila Sazs, the love interest of Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), and Rachel (Zane, not Markle) was involved with Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams). After she met Harry, Meghan left the show in season 7 when Rachel and Mike married.

Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Appeared on Suits

Harry and Meghan abandoned the royal family in 2020, in a bid to be financially independent. They took a “Freedom Flight” out of the UK and now reside in Montecito, California. We think.

The rumor mill is lit with speculation that Harry has left Meghan since he hasn’t been pictured anywhere near his home since taking off for NYC weeks ago.
