It looks like there’s a good reason why Meghan Markle is not wearing makeup anymore. As many of her fans have noticed, Meghan is trying her hand at the all-natural look while promoting her new lifestyle brand called As Ever.

It seems like she’s ditching the glamour along with the heavy blush and dark red lipsticks for her natural palate instead. And of course, a lot of people want to know why.

Ingrid Seward, who often has something or another to say about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on almost a daily basis, insists that the Duchess of Sussex has decided to wear less makeup in public because she has taken a page out of Kate Midldeton’s book.

In other words, she wants to look more natural and even approachable and if not also homely, if that makes sense.

She put it this way, “I think she really enjoys cooking so I think what she wants to project is her image as a homemaker rather than a ‘royal wrecker.’”

“You remember with Kate – we’ve seen Kate cooking with Mary Berry, we’ve seen Kate making cakes, and we know that Kate is a very accomplished cook. So I think Meghan wants to try and get one over her too.”

Ingrid added, “I think Meghan is desperate to get some good publicity. That’s what I think it’s all about, and she wants to project this very homely image of herself.”

Now, whether or not people are actually going to buy into this new look that Meghan is trying remains to be seen, but for now it seems like both her fans and critics have more questions than ever before.
