He thinks that their parents are doing them quite the disservice by keeping them away from their bloodline and particularly their children, Archie and Lilibet. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

While there’s no doubt that Thomas Markle is upset that he hasn’t had the opportunity to meet Archie and Lilibet yet, he also thinks that Harry and Meghan are making a huge mistake by keeping them away from the royal family.

Not only that, but Archie and Lilibet are growing up without their cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. And Thomas thinks that’s absolutely wrong.

Thomas told the Daily Mail in a new interview that things like taking “part in things like Trooping the Colour,” his grandchildren’s “birthright.”

He also explained, “They are getting to the age where they will start to ask questions, as all kids do. I find myself wondering how Archie and Lilibet will feel in a few years’ time when they realize all the things they have missed out on.”

What’s Next For The Sussexes?

If that weren’t enough, Thomas also compared himself to King Charles and says that he feels his pain. That’s because both grandfathers have had no or very little access to their grandchildren.

He said just last month, “I would love to speak to him because I am sure he has as many unanswered questions as I do. I have so many questions I’d like to ask Meghan and Harry.

“The main one being, why have they treated not only me but the royal family and the king so badly?” he continued, adding that he feels “deep empathy” for the King of England, who is currently dealing with his cancer crisis.

Now, whether or not Archie and Lilibet will get to see their royal cousins anytime soon remains to be seen.

So far Meghan Markle herself has made no comments about the criticism she’s received from her father.
