And if there was one person who was very supportive over it all, it was Meghan’ father, Thomas Markle. However, that all changed the moment the Duchess of Sussex cut her father out from her life a few days before her royal wedding to Harry back in 2018.

Well, that certainly backfired on him in the worst way possible. Meghan Markle was left absolutely humiliated by it all.

Thomas Markle ended up having to go to the hospital for his heart problems and missed his daughter’s wedding. Prince Charles at the time took Thomas’s place and walked Meghan down the aisle.

Meghan Markle – Wants Nothing To Do With Her Father

Things just haven’t been the same between Thomas and Meghan from that moment on. There have been letters, messy lawsuits, tell-all interviews and a whole lot of drama.

To make things worse, Thomas is yet to meet his two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet. And at this point, it’s doubtful that he even will.

Meghan has made it pretty clear that her father has no place in her life and that he might never find one in it, either. This, despite the fact that he keeps on trying and pleading with her through his multiple interviews with the media. 

Thomas Markle has held onto the hope that he will one day fix his relationship with his royal daughter. But at this point, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.
