Is there anyone who didn’t see Prince Harry basically becoming Meghan Markle’s shadow over the past couple of years? There are many who have pointed out that Prince Harry always felt like a third wheel to Prince William and Kate Middleton … someone who just kind of faded into the background. However, it seems that Harry’s jumped from the frying pan and into the fire as it was by marrying the attention-seeking Meghan Markle.
Many have accused Meghan Markle of being a female narcissist. She appears to have a grandiose sense of self-importance, needs constant praise and admiration, an undeserved sense of entitlement, uses others for her gain, and exploits them without shame or guilt … then takes the credit (consider Meghan’s relationship with her father, Thomas Markle, or her former friendship with Jessica Mulroney), etc.
Indeed, Angela Levin, who wrote “Harry: Conversations with the Prince” also suggested that Meghan Markle is, “a fiercely ambitious woman who wants to be number one.”
If all that is true, and Prince Harry is actually a mild-mannered Clark Kent and “everyman” to Meghan Markle’s Ms. Boombastic “give me the mic” sort … then it may be a given that over time Prince Harry would hunker down behind his wife’s skirts.
Now, whether this spells trouble in paradise for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is another thing entirely. While some in the media have no problem speculating on the marriages of the rich and famous, all the while nodding, winking, and pointing … the truth is that Prince Harry may not mind the fact that his wife acts as the frontman for their Royal little rock band.
There are many men who admire strong, independent women and who have no shame in allowing their significant others to take center stage … Prince Harry may be just such a man. If so, who is anyone in the media, or elsewhere, to judge Prince Harry for his choices or preferences? Even if Meghan Markle is more than independent and is seriously over the top … so what?
Many might agree that as long as Prince Harry is happy with Meghan Markle, as long as he is smitten with her, and she returns his love … then everyone else needs to butt out of their relationship.
While there has been much written about the supposed fracture and apparent negativity between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the British Royal Family, a lot of that might simply be hype. Of course, it’s absolutely possible that things were said and Prince Harry and Meghan’s feelings may have been hurt … but as it’s been said, time heal all wounds.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been out of the U.K. now for quite some time, first living on Vancouver Island in Canada before moving down to the Los Angeles area. There, Harry and Meghan have been seen tooling around town together, smiling and apparently happy. Moreover, insiders have suggested that Prince Harry is totally fine with the fact that Meghan’s mother has moved in with them. Apparently, Prince Harry gets on quite well with Doria Ragland and the two don’t seem to have issues with one another.
The bottom line is that even if Prince Harry ends up the richest, most famous house husband in existence while his wife goes on to either be a mega-movie star or the president of the United States … he’s been Zooming with Prince William, patching things up with his family, and doesn’t seem too upset about his current circumstances.
In light of all that, perhaps it’s time British pundits left Prince Harry alone a bit and began focusing on some other members of The Firm for a while.
