Meghan Markle launched her latest cheesy venture last week, a selling machine with the fancy pants name American Riviera Orchard.
She hopes to compete with Martha Stewart and Gwenyth Paltrow it’s alleged. Let’s hope MM’s candles smell better than Goop’s.
There’s another name in the aspirational lifestyle mix, Victoria Beckham. Now one royal expert is cautioning the duchess to stay in her lane. Read on for all the juicy dish about Meghan’s ambitious plan to sell dog collars and forks.
Royal Family News – Meghan Markle Changes Brand
The Duchess of Sussex recently launched her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, following in the footsteps of the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Martha Stewart, and the woman married to David Beckham.
Brand expert Denise Palmer-Davies told The Sun that the former spicy girl would be “secretly pleased” if Meghan’s latest vanity project was DOA. Why? Because of the “alleged animosity between them” according to The News.
Royal Family News – Spice Girl Versus Sizzler Girl?
You’ll recall that Harkles “enjoyed close friendship with David and Victoria Beckham until Prince Harry accused the singer of leaking stories about them during a phone call.” Always a charmer, that one.
“The couples have since distanced themselves from one another as they continue to avoid running in the same circles.” Which shouldn’t be hard, with the rare air Beckhams recently airing a hilarious Superbowl commercial and the Markles trying to get someone, anyone, to be seen in public with them.
Royal Family News – Victoria Beckham’s Challenge With the MArkles
Palmer-Davies said “I do wonder what Victoria might think of Meghan essentially tapping into her market. She might think there is enough room for them all and welcome the competition.”
“But given their fall out, the sceptic in me wonders if she’d be secretly pleased if it did backfire. That would be the ultimate revenge wouldn’t it?”
The brand expert went on to say “Victoria Beckham and Gwyneth Paltrow have spent years and years building their businesses and perfecting their brands. Meghan will need a very good marketing and financial team behind her to make this work and ultimately she needs to put in the graft.” Ruh roh.
Can a grifter put in the graft?
She concluded “These days a business can’t survive on a name alone.” Not even one as convoluted and contradictory as American Riviera Orchard.

MM doesn’t have an original thought in her head…outside of getting her husband to leave England and move to the US. She will never be able to compete with those other women!
