As many royalists can recall, both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family back in 2020. They moved to California and haven’t looked back since then.

And while Harry wants the world to believe that this was mostly his idea, others beg to differ. They think Meghan Markle was the entire ‘mastermind’ behind Megxit.

Royalist Angela Levin, who often has something or another to say about the royal family on a daily basis, believes that Meghan Markle is the reason why Prince Harry distanced himself from his family members back in the UK.

Levin even took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to write: “Harry felt forced to leave for Meghan who hated Royal protocol. She felt and showed in several ways she knew better.”

What’s Next For The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex?

“The family bent over backwards to be helpful but you can’t expect any family, certainly not Royal, to cope with Meghan’s demands. Nothing would have been enough and hasn’t been since. Harry should know that by now.”

As you can imagine, many royal fans and critics alike had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “That was well expressed. When they were Royals, it seemed like nothing could satisfy Meggan Markle. She craved the spotlight and would never have accepted playing second fiddle to the Princess of Wales. I am happy we are well rid of her.”

Another critic wrote, “Harry is in denial and is delusional. He needs to get on with his life in the U.S. He left the U.K., he regrets it and there is no going back.”

And then there was this comment as well: “He has no memories to lie. They were forced to leave but you call the freedom flight in your book and Netflix? The thing is nothing worked since they left, they thought they would receive the red carpet in the US and they failed, as ever.”

So far the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not made any comments about the criticism they have received.
