It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not winning any fans on either side of the pond these days. After the former Hollywood actress admitted that things aren’t so great behind closed palace doors and that not many people have asked her how she is doing these days, talk show host Wendy Williams has gone on the record to say that no one really feels sorry for her. In fact, Wendy slammed the Duchess by implying that she knew what “she was signing up for” when she married Prince Harry back in 2018.
Meghan Markle News: ITV Interview Garners Little Sympathy
Wendy Williams made her comments on her talk show this week. She started off by saying, “Meghan, nobody feels sorry for you.” This comes after the 38-year-old said in an emotional interview with the ITV network that she had no idea what the future held for her when she decided to get serious with Prince George.
In her interview, Meghan explained that her British friends warned her that things wouldn’t be easier for her if she decided to marry into the royal family. However, her American friends were excited for her and supported her relationship with Prince Harry. And now Meghan admits that she was naïve in thinking that she would be able to handle things with ease.
After showing a clip of Meghan’s ITV interview, Wendy responded with, “Yes you did. You knew exactly what you were doing. And I applaud her plot-ation on the royal situation. But please, don’t try to garner sympathy from us. You knew what you were doing. Or Meghan’s lying to try and get sympathy, for us to give her sympathy if someone, in fact, told [her] that.”

If that weren’t enough, Wendy said that Meghan shouldn’t be surprised that the tabloid media is covering her as much as they are because she’s Prince Harry’s wife. Wendy added, “Of course, because you’re now a royal. They weren’t following you when you were on ‘Suits,’ we didn’t even know who you were except when you came for employment here at Wendy and wanted to be one of our runway models.”
