What Is Really Going On With Kate Middleton?

Is there something that the palace is not telling us? That’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder as Kate Middleton has undergone abdominal surgery and will remain hospitalized for up to two weeks.

In fact, Kensington Palace announced in a statement that they would only share the most significant updates about the Princess of Wales’ health, prompting a lot of people to wonder what might be really going on behind closed doors. Here’s what you need to know.

What Is Really Going On With Kate Middleton?

It’s been reported that Kate Middleton had surgery and that she will be postponing all of her royal engagements and public appearances for several long months.

What Is Really Going On With Kate Middleton?

A statement from the palace said:The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery,” and that she “is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”

It was also added that Kate Middleton’s husband, Prince William, will definitely be helping out more with the couple’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Kate Middleton Will Be Out Of The Public Eye For Months

But of course, many royal fans and critics alike couldn’t help but speculate on what the real cause behind Kate’s long and extended absence may be.

Some even commented with, Two weeks is definitely a lot of time to remain in the hospital following surgery. I certainly wouldn’t wish that length of a hospital stay for anyone and hope that she recovers well!” along with, “I was thinking along those lines as well. Something to do with the uterus, ovaries. I can see Kate not wanting to discuss that. Ten to 14 days in hospital, though? Yikes! And months of recovery, that sounds super serious.”

Another critic wrote, “Yes, it seems kind of crazy to have a planned hospital stay of more than a few days, maybe a week. Anyone I know who has wound up in the hospital for two weeks is there that long because something in their planned procedure went wrong and doctors are having trouble stabilizing them.”

    2. Dora says

No one stays that long for a hysterectomy.
      Whatever the reason- it’s serious.

  5. Ann says

Could it be Orthpedic? She mentioned tumbleing in school??

  6. Marylou Ships says

Leave her alone. It’s private matter. It’s nobody’s a business just leave the girl alone. She’s probably miserable enough without worrying about what people think. Just hope she gets well soon.

  7. Jackie says

I think she either had her tubes tied or a complete hysterectomy

  8. Jean says

What I find funny is the children haven’t visited her. What is it they don’t want the children to see and talk about?

  9. Nancy says

Prayers go up to Catherine princess of Wales and to King Charles that they both recover quickly from their health situations Catherine does not have to reveal what she had surgery on because really it is nobody’s Business. The palace said it was non-cancerous so let her have her privacy she has her husband by her and it is really his and her business and if they wish to share it with the world they will but give her some privacy show her respect and let her get on with her recovery

  11. Sharon says

    Leave the poor woman alone….

  12. marlene morgan says

    She had a tummy tuck

  13. Deliworker says

There are multiple surgeries where the stomach is involved with long hospital says and a few months recovery. Many times going back to your normal routine can cause problems and you can wind up back in the hospital if you go back too soon. The three children, events, travels for various reasons, her charities, and her love of participating in places she visits can take a toll on a healthy person and could be detrimental to a full recovery. She should follow her doctor’s and advice and sure she is fully healed before she returns to her normal schedule.

I absolutely agree with you. I had a hysterectomy, cyst and endometriosis. I was out of the hospital in 3 days, and was home for a month. I was told not to pick up anything over 10 lbs. for a year. This is royalty, the doctors are going to make sure she is in shape to go home, an infection is so easy to get with abdominal surgery, and going home, especially with children, she’s a mom and you have to be so careful to not pop stitches. Also for people that think she is getting a tummy tuck, I’m from Los Angeles, home of plastic surgery, it wouldn’t take 3 months recuperation for a tummy tuck, home almost right away, recuperation maybe a few weeks. Lets just let her get home, and give her privacy. Would you like your medical problems all over the news? Wishing her a speedy recovery, we love her here immensely.

  14. Cally says

I wish the speculation would go away. There are any number of reasons she is in the hospital that do not include something bad. People give her a rest. Let it be.

  15. Kxcourt says

I think she’s being treated for anorexia and the surgery line is a decoy.

  16. PA David says

    It’s mental.

  17. Eljo says

Catherine, Princess of Wales is not anorexic, you have her confused with Meghan who looks like she is all skin and bones this past year.
The princess just needs time to recuperate and have some peace. God be with her on her road to recovery.
