Prince Harry and Meghan Markle own a nice big mansion in Montecito, but allegedly, they look to relocate to Hope Ranch, a nearby community. No doubt, they will either build or buy a mansion there. And, as it’s so close to where they currently reside, what makes it a better option for them? Read on to find out.

Whilst crime is reported;y on the increase in Montecito, is that the only reason why The Duke and Duchess of Susses might want to move? Although there has been speculation that the son of the new monarch wants to move home to the UK,  that’s unlikely to become a permanent arrangement. After all, even King Charles talked about them continuing “to build their lives overseas.” Well, it looks like they might ditch the idea of building that life in Montecito.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are believed to be on the outs with some residents of Montecito. And that’s why social media dubbed her “Queen Meg of Montecito.” The upmarket area provided plenty of places to dine out in style, and plenty of celebs do just that. Perhaps it’s a security concern behind them reportedly sticking to places with more expensive meals. 

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Move To Hope Ranch?

The Daily Mail reported that the word is out that the couple consider Hope Ranch for their new residence. Since then, plenty of other outlets reported about it. Certainly, it sounds very nice. But, it’s not completely crime free. In 2019, actor Ron Ely’s wife, Valerie was found dead from multiple, stab wounds. Additionally, there have been reports of prowlers and vehicle theft in the area. If they move there, no doubt, the best that money can buy in security will be in place for the family. 

Perhaps Prince Harry and Meghan Markle consider moving there because it seems quieter than Montecito, and therefore, more private. Additionally, if they do want to visit friends in Montecito, it’s just a 20-minute drive along the Pacific Coast Highway. Additionally, depending on which property they find in the private community, they could choose mountain views, ocean views, or both.

Life In Hope Ranch

Katinka Goertz on YouTube explained more about the area Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be interested in. There’s a big gate into Hope Ranch and beautiful palm trees line the streets. Almost Mediterranean in ambiance, there’s a clubhouse and a private beach with a picnic site. It’s a popular socializing spot with the local residents as the kids can hang out in the playground. 

More in line with the Duke’s interests is the fact that Hope Ranch is very popular for “its equestrian community.” In fact, there are “22 miles of riding trails.”
