Where Will Princess Catherine Be In 2025?

British royal family news reveals that this year has been a trying one for Kate Middleton. In January she underwent a planned abdominal surgery and in March she shared a video in which she stated that doctors had found cancer.

She has not revealed the type of cancer she had but she successfully completed preventative chemotherapy in August. Now that the year is coming to a close royal fans are wondering what 2025 might look like for Princess Catherine.

Understandably, Kate has focused on regaining her health this year, thus she had just a handful of official appearances. Kate is a senior, working royal and as such is expected to attend many official royal events throughout the calendar year.

Kate’s September video in which she announced that she is cancer free, also saw the princess say that she is looking forward to returning to work.

She is the royal patron of many sporting and arts organizations, including the Lawn Tennis Association, SportsAid, and the Royal Photographic Society.

In 2023 Kate was made the commodore-in-chief of the Fleet Air Arm, and she is the colonel of the Irish Guards, a title taken away from disgraced Prince Andrew.

Royal Family News: Catherine Has Many Patronages

This month, during a trip to South Africa, Prince William said: “I think hopefully Catherine will be doing a bit more next year, so we’ll have some more trips maybe lined up.” Kate is a fan favorite and any appearance by her brings out the crowds hoping for a glimpse of the future queen.

The couple’s last trip overseas trip was in June 2023. At that time they attended the wedding of Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif; Kate’s mother, sister, and brother-in-law were also in attendance.

Kate and William’s last working trip abroad was to the United States in 2022. They traveled to the US for the second annual Earthshot Prize ceremony in Boston. Earthshot was launched in 2020 by Prince William to award those who come up with “breakthrough solutions that could change the world for the better.”

National Appearances in 2025 From the Princess of Wales

In 2025 it’s fair to expect to see Kate at Wimbledon in the Royal Box, on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the Trooping the Colour, and at the Remembrance Sunday ceremony, all events that she attended this year.
