Princess Beatrice And Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi Announce Engagement

As many royal fans can recall, there was some controversy over Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding back in October of 2018. Even though British taxpayers are the ones to pick up the tab for royal weddings, there was a stir online about Eugenie and Jack’s ceremony and reception. As a matter of fact, there was even a petition circulating that the British royal family pay for the bill and not the taxpayers.

It’s no secret that weddings are quite expensive and that royal weddings cost more than what some people make in a lifetime. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding from May of 2018 cost an estimated $43 million. It’s been noted that the royal family did cover most of the expenses, however, the British taxpayers did have to pay for royal security for the event. Luckily, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding only cost a cool $2.4 million.

Now, as far as Beatrice and Edo’s wedding is concerned, there’s some speculation that they might end up tying the knot in his native Italy. Should they do that, there’s a chance that Queen Elizabeth will not attend the ceremony and reception given how she is no longer traveling abroad. Of course, Princess Beatrice also knows that she has the option to wed at Windsor Castle like her sister did or at Kensington or Buckingham Palace.

So far Princess Beatrice herself has not made any comments about her wedding, nor have her parents Prince Andrew or Sarah Ferguson have said anything either. But seeing how her sister Eugenie managed to keep things under budget during her own wedding, we have a feeling that Beatrice might do the same. We will definitely update you with all of the latest information as it comes in.

Until then, royals fans will just have to wait and see what will happen next! In the meantime, keep up with Celebrating the Soaps for all the latest news right here!
