Who Will Replace Prince Harry and Meghan Markle? 2 New Royals to Take Over

The “Megxit” dust is starting to settle and a whole new set of questions about the future is being brought up. There is no way that Prince William and Kate Middleton can take on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former royal duties in addition to their own responsibilities. So, which royals could replace them? There is speculation that two women could take over.

Harry and Meghan not only stepped down from their senior royal positions, but they are moving part-time to Canada. In fact, that’s where they are with baby Archie right now. However, that leaves royal officials rushing to figure out who is going to take over. After all, they have certain obligations and those can’t be ignored and dismissed due to the “Megxit” ordeal.

Prince William and Kate Middleton Already Overloaded

It was assumed that much of the load would automatically fall on William and Kate. However, they are already overloaded with their own responsibilities. While it is a short-term solution, it’s not viable (or fair) long-term. This means that two new royals would have to step in, but who?

Royal Officials Scramble to Come Up With Solutions

It is suggested that while statements indicate everything is running smoothly, officials are scrambling to come up with solutions. Harry and Meghan were supposed to wait before making an announcement. Due to them ignoring the agreement and rushing out, this has put Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the Royal Family in a difficult position.

Two Princesses to Be Royal Replacements?

According to Hello! Magazine, Robert Lacey speculated on who could replace Harry and Meghan. The royal biographer and historical consultant for Netflix’s “The Crown” suggested two surprising choices: Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

“It’s quite clear that one of the consequences is that Beatrice and Eugenie will now be brought forward – if they’re willing to be brought forward… If two go out, two have got to come in, and those two have got to be Beatrice and Eugenie.”
