Why does Meghan Markle want to return to Kensington Palace? That’s what everyone seems to be asking as there’s a new report that suggests the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking to spend more time in the UK.
What’s more, it seems like the former Hollywood actress has specifically asked to spend time in an apartment on the grounds of Kensington Palace.
This has begged a lot of critics to all ask the same question: why? Here’s what you need to know.

It seems like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking to take one step back before they take two steps forward again.
While they do have a very comfortable lifestyle in California, reports suggest that they want to return to the royal fold back in the UK.
They are also looking for a place to call him, too. With no place to go, Harry and Meghan are hoping to rent space again, but this time at Kensington Palace.
Royal author and critic Angela Levin, who often has something or another to say about the royal family, took to her X account (formerly Twitter) to weigh in on the matter.
She doesn’t understand why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so eager to return to the UK nad their former royal lives when they so desperately ran away from everything nearly four years ago.
Royal Family News: What’s Next For Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?
Levin said, “Meghan wants to spend time in a flat in Kensington Palace each year. Life must be dreadful in USA.
If Meghan does come to stay in Kensington Palace is she going to continue with her memoirs of the ‘terrible ‘time she had first time round?”
She then added, “Will she apologise for all the vile and untrue things she said? Will she and Harry film all round and then sell it to journalists.”
So far Kensington Palace has not made any comments about the criticism. Watch this space.

She wants back in to keep titles and have money. Nothing else.
Agree. Also to gather more info for her memoirs, possibly even setting up a ‘spy ring’ in the Palace. I do not trust her based on her actions.
I’m in complete agreement…she is scared she will lose her title! I am hoping it is taken away from her.
Everyone knows Nutmeg does nothing unless it benefits her. She and Harry are failures in the US and realize they need the Royal Connection to survive. So back to the UK part time to gather information to sell for money and write her memoir to cause more damage. I hope KC doesn t support this but we also know his desperate and very gullible when it comes to Harry. The Queen made it very clear to Harry there are no part time, “You re either in or out”. If you let them come back they should sign a NDA(both of them) . Also you made very well damage your relationship with William. So decide which is more important KC, Harry or the Monarcy because H&M agenda hasn t changed they are still he’ll bent in destroying the Monarcy and the RF.
They know their trashing of the royal family has turned most people against them, including Hollywood. They know they need to look like they are making amends to start making money again. I also think now that the Queen has passed that they are wanting to make another stab at this half in, half out that the Queen refused them. I also think it has to do with Harry wanting his security back, which includes IPP status so he would get free security wherever he goes, including the US which would surely cause a revolt from Americans
Harry and Megan just want the money. They will continue to bad mouth the Royals.
Please don’t let them have anything to do with the Royal Family. Their titles should be taken away.
Nutmeg wants to get in the palace so she can rumage around looking for royal items to sell to make the money of her dreams. Prince Harry needs to wise up before it is too late. And children? What children? Parents don’t leave their children home all the time to constantly going here and there.
