A lot of people believe that the papers can’t talk about the Prince of Wales, his conduct behind closed doors and maybe even his past so freely because the palace has an embargo on him.

And while it’s pretty obvious that the same doesn’t apply to other members of the royal family like Prince Andrew or even Sarah Ferguson, a lot of people still can’t help but wonder why Prince William gets so much special treatment.

After all, his own father King Charles dealt with his own scandals in the past, and especially when he was having an affair with his now wife, Queen Camilla, right?

Clearly, the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some even took to social media to write comments such as, “I need to know what’s so bad they are terrified of spilling. We know he has anger issues. I don’t care what deals they made to protect him — I want to know what the big secret is.”

Royal Family News: What’s Next For The Prince of Wales?

Another critic wrote, “I think there is a feeling amongst the Royal Rota (and anybody else who has a vested interest in the success of the monarchy) that if William is revealed to be a philandering rage-monster who throws things at his wife, and the Wales marriage publicly falls apart, it will be the end of the monarchy.”

And then there was this comment as well: “He is all they have left. The UK media are generally monarchist and I think they realised the mistake that made in going after Charles so hard when he was Prince of Wales. It meant he would never be a popular king.”

“They know the monarchy is on shaky ground and believe the only way to save it is to make people believe William and Kate are perfect living saints who will transform the monarchy.”
