Victoria says of the Middletons: “They’re not working royals. They don’t have any kind of public profile. And that really shifted the tone for me into this ‘is this a personal thing?’ This is about their family.”

Kate was photographed driving the two couples to Crathie Kirk Church, and wore a brown checked coat, while William wore a tailored suit and a blue tie.

In her emotional September 9 video, Princess Catherine shared that her experience with cancer has been “incredibly tough” for her family, but they found “a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.” It is thought that Kate will now begin a lightened spate of royal events as the year winds down.
